Evenflo Discovery Infant Child Restraints |
|
According to a recent report from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration), effective April 2008, Evenflo is recalling 1,038 of its
Discovery infant child restraints, Models 3021769Z and 3021854Z, which were
manufactured on February 4, 2008. Model numbers that do not begin with
"302" and end with a "Z" are not included in this recall. These restraints
are being recalled because of a defect in some units, which were produced
without complete assembly of the release handle on the back of the seat.
Due to this defect, the seat may become separated from the base and could
result in serious injury to the child.
