D. Shawn Stevens

Shawn has been practicing law in Texas for over 20 years and has spent most of his legal career concentrating on fighting for those that have been injured (and the families of those killed) due to the fault of others.

Having been injured himself while in college by a drunk driver on campus as he was riding home on a motorcycle after work waiting tables one night, Shawn has experienced what it is like to be injured and to have your life suddenly disrupted, and how insurance companies will try to minimize what happened and take advantage of vulnerable injured people.

He was presented the Outstanding Sole Practitioner award by the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program of the Dallas Bar Association in 2004 for representing single mothers with difficult child support and child custody issues, and in 2021 he was made a member of the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas.
