News 4 San Antonio reported on February 28, just after 11:30 p.m., that San Antonio Police Department responded to an accident on Interstate 35 South near the Cesar Chavez exit. The massive collision involved eight vehicles near downtown. An investigation is still ongoing as to what caused the car to lose control and precipitate to five other vehicles crashing into each other. Two additional cars passing by were also damaged. At this moment, there are no known serious injuries.
