The Firm Sponsored Adoptions at the Dallas Kitten-pal-ooza 2026

On Saturday, March 21st, Angel Reyes & Associates was proud to give back to our community by taking part in a pet adoption event to help local residents find a new furry friend to call their own.

Dallas Pets Alive! hosted Kitten-pal-ooza, an event marking the informal kickoff of “kitten season,” a period of the year when local animal shelters usually see an increase in surrendered cats and kittens.

We were extremely grateful to take part, both by being present on site with attendees and by covering all adoption fees for pets adopted as a part of the celebration.

In total, seven cats found new homes. Featured cat Angel, named for the firm’s founding attorney and lead partner, was the first cat adopted on the day. A different cat named Reyes was also adopted on Friday.

While the focus was on cats, Kitten-pal-ooza also had several dogs available for adoption, with three finding news homes to bring the total adoption count to 10.

“I’m extremely glad we were able to be involved with this event,” said Elliot Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer at Angel Reyes & Associates. “It was an incredible time to get to see so many people open up when given the opportunity to play with a cat. Even those who didn’t adopt an animal were having a great afternoon.” Check out some pictures from the event below.
