Furthermore, he held a position in Honduras where he was the legal liaison between the Military and the American Embassy in Honduras. While stationed in Honduras, LTC Smith was nominated for the honor of being the Best Young Attorney in the United States Military.

In 1999, LTC Smith was elected to the city council in the City of Lancaster, Texas, where he served three terms. In 2000, LTC Smith was voted “Best Elected Official in the Best Southwest”, which included Lancaster, De Soto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, and Midlothian, Texas. After moving to Dallas in 2002, LTC Smith was appointed acting chairman for the City of Dallas Civil Service Board by Mayor Laura Miller. LTC Smith has also served on the Board of Directors for the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce.

In his free time, LTC Smith enjoys reading, writing music, and singing. He is also very involved with his Church, and being involved in LTC Smith has performed professionally and has won honors for his singing and songwriting. Most of all, however, LTC Smith enjoys spending time with his family. His family consists of his wife, Susan, his sons Joshua and Matthew, and his daughter Brittany.

Mahsa graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington as a dual major, with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy. She went on to receive her J.D. in San Diego, California at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. While in law school, Mahsa was an Intellectual Property Fellow and Chair of the Moot Court Honor Society where she competed in the National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition at Pepperdine.

During law school, Mahsa had the opportunity to study abroad in Hangzhou, China as well as Nice, France where she studied International Law under the guidance of a United States Supreme Court Justice.

Joseph Trinca, a distinguished attorney at Angel Reyes & Associates – Angel Reyes & Associates, specializes in personal injury cases and is a proud member of the State Bar of Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies in 2019 at the University of Mississippi, earning degrees in Managerial Finance, Banking and Finance, Real Estate, and a minor in Spanish. His legal journey continued at the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor.

Post-law school, Joseph gained valuable experience in personal injury cases at accredited law firms before making the move to Dallas, Texas. Today, he passionately represents clients, prioritizing their needs and striving for optimal outcomes.
