Angel Reyes & Associates Earns Two Best of San Antonio® Readers’ Choice Awards

Named First Place for Best Personal Injury Attorney and Best Law Firm by San Antonio Voters

San Antonio just gave us a gift we’re going to be smiling about for a while. Angel Reyes & Associates took first place for Best Personal Injury Attorney or Firm and first place for Best Law Firm in the San Antonio Current’s Best of San Antonio® Readers’ Choice Awards for 2026.

We also placed third for Best Attorney.

No Judges, No Backroom Picks

Here’s the part we’re most proud of: no panel handed us these titles. Most awards like this involve a committee somewhere making the final call, but Best of San Antonio doesn’t work that way. No judges, arbitrary selection criteria, or special considerations.

Instead, these honors go to whoever the city shows up to vote for. Best of San Antonio recognizes businesses that are recognized by their community in more than 150 categories, ranging from tacos to law firms. They have done so every year for 36 years now. There’s something almost old-fashioned about it, in a good way.

A ranking is nice, but a vote is personal. The people who checked our name on that ballot are former clients, people who watched a friend go through a case with us, or neighbors who read about a result in the news. Plenty of them may have never set foot in either of our two San Antonio offices, Village North and Gardendale. But they knew about our service, and they went out of their way to back us for this recognition. That kind of support means more to us than a lot of recognitions we could chase after.

Choosing a lawyer after an accident is not something most people have multiple opportunities to do. It’s also usually a choice they make during one of the most stressful and difficult periods of their lives. An ad can tell you some things, but a neighbor’s vote tends to tell a story rooted in personal experience.

We’ve Been Here a While

A trophy is nice to have on the shelf, but it’s not why we do this. Angel Reyes & Associates has been representing injured Texans since 1993, and our team has been working cases in San Antonio specifically for years, long before this poll opened. We do what we do because we believe in giving people a genuine, fighting chance of standing up for themselves against insurance companies and their massive legal teams.
