Dallas Amazon Truck Accident FAQs

Get answers to commonly asked questions about our legal services and learn how Angel Reyes & Associates may assist you with your case.

What should I do immediately after an Amazon truck accident in Dallas?

After an Amazon truck accident in Dallas, call 911 and get medical attention right away. Document the scene with photos, note the Amazon vehicle number or logo, and get the driver’s information. Do not accept any offer or statement from Amazon or its insurer before speaking with a lawyer.

Is Amazon liable when one of its delivery drivers causes an accident?

Amazon’s liability depends on whether the driver was classified as an employee or an independent contractor and what program they were operating under at the time of the crash. Our attorneys review the driver’s classification, the delivery agreement, and Amazon’s insurance to identify every responsible party.

What insurance covers an Amazon delivery driver in a crash?

Amazon maintains commercial liability coverage for drivers operating under its delivery programs, but coverage questions are often disputed. The applicable policy and coverage limits depend on the type of delivery program and the driver’s status at the time of the crash. We can work through those details with you.

How long after an Amazon truck accident in Dallas can I file my claim?

In Texas, the statute of limitations for most personal injury cases is two years from the date of the crash. Corporate defendants like Amazon have legal teams that begin building their defense right away, so acting quickly protects your position.
