Steve “Dusty” Smith has been an attorney since 1990. He also served in the Military reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. LTC Smith obtained his Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982 as a full-time student and working a full-time job.

On June 1, 1990, LTC Smith was sworn into the United States Army as a First Lieutenant. He served six years active duty in the Judge Advocate General’s Corp where he served as a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney. Furthermore, he held a position in Honduras where he was the legal liaison between the Military and the American Embassy in Honduras. While stationed in Honduras, LTC Smith was nominated for the honor of being the Best Young Attorney in the United States Military.

In 1999, LTC Smith was elected to the city council in the City of Lancaster, Texas, where he served three terms. In 2000, LTC Smith was voted “Best Elected Official in the Best Southwest”, which included Lancaster, De Soto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, and Midlothian, Texas. After moving to Dallas in 2002, LTC Smith was appointed acting chairman for the City of Dallas Civil Service Board by Mayor Laura Miller. LTC Smith has also served on the Board of Directors for the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce.

In his free time, LTC Smith enjoys reading, writing music, and singing. He is also very involved with his Church, and being involved in LTC Smith has performed professionally and has won honors for his singing and songwriting. Most of all, however, LTC Smith enjoys spending time with his family. His family consists of his wife, Susan, his sons Joshua and Matthew, and his daughter Brittany.

She began her legal career in India after earning a law degree from Amity Law School in Delhi. Over the years, she represented several corporations, and individual clients, developing deep expertise in litigation and public interest matters. Later, Pooja earned her LL.M from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she also received a certificate in Media and Entertainment Law.

Since moving to Texas, she has focused on personal injury law, managing dozens of cases through all stages of litigation. Known for her strong research and negotiation skills, Pooja is committed to fighting for justice on behalf of those injured due to the negligence of others.

Nathan “Nate” Villarreal, an associate attorney at Angel Reyes & Associates, graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in December 2020. He began his career representing clients in family and criminal law matters in San Antonio, Texas, where he gained recognition for his success in litigating family law cases. Nate later transitioned to representing insurance companies and homeowners’ associations, providing him with unique insights into their tactics and strategies.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is actively involved as a board member of the Dallas Texas Exes. During law school, Nate contributed to the St. Mary’s Law Journal as a staff writer and comment editor. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, cooking, watching Longhorn athletics, reading, and stand-up comedy.
