What should I do immediately after a spinal cord injury accident in Fort Worth?

After a spinal cord injury accident in Fort Worth, seek emergency medical attention immediately and follow all medical guidance without delay. Do not attempt to negotiate with any insurance company on your own. Contact a spinal cord injury lawyer as soon as you are able so we can begin preserving evidence and building your case.

How is compensation calculated for a spinal cord injury in Texas?

Compensation for a spinal cord injury in Texas may include current and future medical expenses, rehabilitation and adaptive equipment costs, lost income and reduced earning capacity, and damages for pain, suffering, and loss of enjoyment of life. Because spinal cord injuries often require lifelong care, accurately calculating your future needs is one of the most important aspects of your case.

Who can be held liable for a spinal cord injury in Fort Worth?

Liability for a spinal cord injury depends on how the injury occurred. A negligent driver, a property owner who failed to maintain safe conditions, an employer, or an equipment manufacturer may all be responsible depending on the facts of your case. Our attorneys investigate every angle to identify all parties who can be held accountable.

How long after a spinal cord injury in Fort Worth can I file my claim?

In Texas, the statute of limitations for most personal injury cases is two years from the date of the injury. Given the complexity and long-term nature of spinal cord injury cases, contacting a lawyer early gives your case the strongest possible foundation.
